Fosu-Mensah takes Zlatan Ibrahimovic book for flight to face Zorya in Europa League decider
MANCHESTER UNITED starlet Timothy Fosu-Mensah was spotted tucking into Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s autobiography as Red Devils’ stars jetted out for their Europa League decider.
And Jose Mourinho‘s squad for the Europa League game appears to have left Everton-linked duo Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin in the Old Trafford departure lounge and facing an entirely new chapter in their careers.
United boss Mourinho has not included Chris Smalling, Michael Carrick, Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Depay and Schneiderlin in his 19-man squad.
Fosu-Mensah made the cut and was spotted swatting up on team-mate Ibrahimovic with a copy of the Swedish striker’s book ‘I Am Zlatan’.
Depay posted his latest fitness video on social media yesterday, having been linked with moves to Everton and Roma after compatriot Ronald Koeman admitted he was desperate to bring the winger to Goodison Park.
And he appears to have used some of his time off to gain inspiration from world heavyweight boxing champ Anthony Joshua too.
Meanwhile former Toffee Wayne Rooney looks set to start against Zorya, with United needing a draw to guarantee a spot in the knockout stages.
Anthony Martial looks to have played his way back into Mourinho’s good books, with the France forward’s EFL Cup double against West Ham booking him a spot on the plane to Odessa.
