Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has completed a move to Spurs
Tottenham have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille.
The 21-year-old has signed a contract which runs until 2021, while Spurs have sent Clinton N’Jie to Marseille on a season-long loan deal.
He told the Tottenham website: “I’m really delighted to sign for this team. It’s a really great English club with a lot of ambition, which is the reason why I have moved here.
“I always dreamed of playing in England and I watched a lot of Premier League football last year, including Tottenham games. That’s what attracted me.
“It’s true that I watched many Premier League games when I was a child as well and I remember a few players that made me want to come here – Gareth Bale for instance, who has played here.
“There was also Cristiano Ronaldo when he was playing for Manchester United. They inspired me because they play the way I like to – they like to challenge defenders, to dribble.
“I can’t wait to get started with the Premier League and the English game. It suits my playing style, it’s explosive.
“Everyone knows I’m fast and I like to dribble around players, so the English league is best for me.”
