West Ham join chase for Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson
West Ham will make a second attempt this summer to land Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Hammers lined up the Icelandic international, 27, in January as a replacement ahead of Dimitri Payet’s return to Marseille .
Swansea, however, rebuffed an approach while Sigurdsson maintained his commitment to the club.
West Ham are now set for a second move in the summer when the club will look to overhaul the squad following a disappointing season.
They are set to be rivalled by Everton who have stepped up their chase for Sigurdsson with Ronald Koeman a big fan. The former Spurs star has scored nine times this season and leads the assists charts with 11.
